The hotel and restaurant are situated right on Cortina’s Tofane ski slopes. Thanks to an efficient system of skibuses, ski lifts and ski slopes, all sides of the Faloria and the Cristallo are reachable from the Locanda del Cantoniere.

 

There are bus routes joining up the skiing complexes of the Falzarego and Giau passes and the Lagazuoi 5 Torri area, well known for its numerous Ski tours: the Super 8 Ski Tour,  famous for its breathtaking views over 8 of the most renowned mountains of the Dolomites: Tofana, Pelmo, Civetta, Marmolada, Fanes, Averau, 5 Torri and Conturines; the Armentarola – Lagazuoi Ski Tour, renowned as the most fascinating ski slope of the Dolomites, connecting Cortina with the Badia skiing area; and last but not least, the Giro della Grande Guerra or Great War Tour, a circuit that   takes in the Giau and Falzarego passes, the Badia Valley, Arabba and Alleghe, going right around the Col di Lana and passing among the places of the First World War fought at high altitudes.
